Let’s Make Some Brandy Margaritas Tonight! – One of the first things you’ll know about this drink is definitely a strong Brandy cocktail. The Brandy margarita were going to make uses a few of our favorite spirits.. E&J, Cointreau, and Partida Tequila – go get yourself a few bottles tonight.. and get the good stuff – MAN!
Cointreau is actually a product of a less sweet variety of oranges (some call them “Bitter Oranges” that grow in Spain, Brazil, and Haiti.
Next we have Triple Sec which I’m sure you’re all familiar with. By adding in the Cointreau we get a sweet and sour kind of flavor, and it really pops that good, cold, fresh drink taste.
You can serve this is a tumbler or by the pitcher.. wow.!
Cointreau, water, 1 can of lime juice (or juiceade) concentrate, a good brandy, (E &J or other) and use a good Tequila (we love Partida Tequila) …this is the best really, very very smooth!) Keep in mind that better spirits make better drinks! Cheers
- Salt for the glass rim (course or medium)
- 3.5 ounces of Brandy
- 4 ounces of Cointreau
- 16 ounces of frozen canned lime juice concentrate
- 3 cans of water (Use the can the lime concentrate came with..)
- 10 ounces of Partida Tequila
- 1 Sliced Lime
Mix all of the spirits and ingreditents together and pour this mix into a blender with ice and blend to your taste. You can also pour this over ice too.
A margarita glass should be prepped in advance – wet the top part of the glasses and dip the glass into medium or course salt. Carefully pour the new mix in the salted glass, and/or use a strainer if you have sloppy hands. A margarita glass also gets a garnish of a lime slice!
Ahhh, now that’s a good drink – Enjoy!
